Briana Hendrickson is a PhD student in the department of Curriculum & Instruction and the Center for Writing Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Biographical Statement

Briana received her B.A. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in English and Secondary Education. After graduating, Briana spent four years teaching high school english. She obtained her Master's in English at Easter Illinois University where she concentrated in Composition & Rhetoric. At Eastern, Briana worked in the Writing Center, taught first-year composition, and co-taught a Young Adult Literature course. Briana is currently in her first year of the College of Education's Curriculum & Instruction Ph.D. program where most of her work is focused on Teacher Education for secondary preservice English teachers.
