Biographical Statement
Justin Jory moved to Illinois from Colorado, where he worked as a fulltime Instructor in the rhetoric and writing program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. At UCCS, he also served as the technology support specialist, writing program administrator assistant, and a non-tenure track faculty activist. He received his master’s in rhetoric and composition from Colorado State University in 2008. In the not too distant past, he worked as a technical writer and editor in North Carolina, and he graduated from Texas A&M University, where he studied rhetoric as an undergraduate.

Digital and multimodal rhetoric, writing, and pedagogy; activist rhetorics and the formation of publics; rhetorical genre studies; network theories; writing program administration
