Biographical Statement
Before moving to Illinois, I completed my M.A. in English at Colorado State University and taught 9th and 10th grade information literacy at a high school in Colorado Springs. I was also a full-time instructor of rhetoric and writing at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I am currently a graduate student in the Center for Writing Studies and a literacy tutor at Urbana Adult Education.
Research Interests
Community literacy; composition theory and pedagogy; feminist theory
