Abstract
In her presentation, Lillian Bridwell-Bowles discusses the importance of introducing "new processes and forms" into writing in college classes. She argues that language and texts represent a particular vision of a culture and that by asking students to experiment with "diverse discourses," we can offer them richer ways of writing and learning.
