Abstract
Professor Dipardo spent over a year studying collaborative teaching in five midwestern public schools. In her talk, she briefly sketches the impetus and conceptual framing for her project, gives an overview of her methodology, describes the five sites, and then focuses on one: a public alternative school. Her study was supported by an NCTE Research Foundation Grant and an NAE Spencer Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
