Abstract

How dangerous is good teaching? Fox will explore the relationship between thoughtful and challenging pedagogy in composition and the complex and destructuive response of the institution. Deep inquiry for students challenges institutional labor regulations, entrenched gender relations, and the desire for homogeneity. Fox's talk integrates pedagogical analysis with satire, narrative, and political critique.
