Writers Workshop: Writer Resources
Modern Language Association (MLA): Book Chapter
Begin the bibliographic entry with the name of the author. The title of the chapter, placed within quotation marks, goes next, followed by a period. Include the title of the book in italics or underlined, followed by a period. Conclude the entry with the publication information and page numbers of the entire book chapter (and not simply the parts that you cite within your text).
